A very first for SouthAfrica called BeemerCampSA – An overnight festival for BMW lovers to enjoy open-air festivities in the wonderful Hartebeespoort District .
ABOUT THE VENUE
Set amid 20 hectares of tree-filled grounds, this understated resort is 10km from Aerial Cableway Hartebeespoort and 18km rom the Magaliesberg mountains.
The Hartebeespoort District is a South African resort town north of Johannesburg with just 35km from Lanseria Airport and 29km from the Pretoria CBD.
It is known for the Hartebeespoort Dam and the whitewater rapids of the Crocodile River.
Both are visible from the Hartebeespoort Aerial Cableway, which ascends to the top of the Magaliesberg mountains. Outside of town, Miracle waters is a spring water dive site in a former chrome mine. Also nearby is the Ann van Dyk Cheetah Centre which is a big cat sanctuary.
Accomodation at this resort range from tents with minifridges and shared bathrooms, to unfussy thatched – roof log cabins and red-brick chalets with kitchens; most offering TVs. A hostel features bunk beds and communal bathrooms. There is no air-conditioning.
